WHAT IS NEUROFEEDBACK?

Neurofeedback, or EEG Biofeedback, is a non-invasive brain training method used to improve brain function. Using EEG sensors and specialized software, brain activity is measured and reflected back through visual, audio, and tactile biofeedback. While the client plays a video game or watches a movie, their brain is improving its activity.

Neurofeedback is used to manage:

  • headaches
  • sleep disorders
  • behavioral issues
  • attention problems
  • stress and anxiety
  • depression
  • Restless Leg Syndrome
  • PTSD and trauma
  • concussion
  • autism
  • peak performance
  • and more

HOW DOES NEUROFEEDBACK WORK?

EEG electrodes are attached to the client’s scalp with a gentle conducting paste. The client’s brain activity is relayed to specialized computer software. The computer software then shows the client their brain activity through visual, audio, or tactile changes in the movie or game and the brain improves its performance based on the feedback it is receiving.
